Getting into the holiday season there are a couple things to consider (no, not just which days you plan on using your accrued vacation hours).
Let’s first stop and consider why it is important not just for us, but for businesses, in general, to be charitable throughout the year. Here are 3 examples of how your business can do well for others as well as for themselves:
Increases Employee Confidence In Your Company
Giving back to others in need helps build momentum in not just your present employees, but also in future employees looking at your company.
- Increased Client Confidence In Your Company
Clients appreciate and support socially conscious businesses because it causes them to become emotionally invested. It was found in a study done in 2010 by Cone Communications that, “85 percent of consumers have a better outlook on businesses that give to a charity that they care about”
- Sponsorship Doubles as Marketing
Generate positivity around your company brand when your clients see some of their favorite teams and products with your name next to it you have more exposure!
So What About Us?
At Momentum, a part of our corporate culture is to be committed to giving back to the communities in which we live and work. We do that through a number of ways:
The first one is through our Community Investment Fund Program (CIF).
Part of our corporate culture is to be committed to giving back to the communities in which we live and work. This CIF program allows us to work in partnership with our valued clients by supporting a variety of important projects and programs in the communities in which we operate. Would you like to be part of this program, contact us or read more here.
Secondly, each of our offices individually sponsor an impoverished child directly.
Momentum recognizes the mission of giving a child living in need the hope for a better future. By donating we help combat poverty and injustice by providing food, water, education and healthcare.
Lastly, Momentum Conferencing is also a proud sponsor of the BC Lions “Courage For Kids” Program
Momentum Conferencing is a proud sponsor of Courage for Kids. We have sponsored this program now for Five years as our core tenets are aligned with understanding the importance of supporting local kids and sports.
Last season thousands of children were given the opportunity to attend a BC Lions home game thanks to the generosity of the BC Lions Courage For Kids sponsors, as well as the Kids up Front organization. We have seen that fostering community sustainability through providing game tickets for kids who could have otherwise not been able to attend a live game brings positivity to ourselves and the public!
