Momentum Conferencing Gives Back

Here at Momentum Conferencing, we believe in the importance of giving back, especially within our community.

We want our donations to have the greatest impact possible, so we tend to focus on helping children and families. One of the organizations we support is Covenant House in both Vancouver and Toronto. They provide food, shelter and support for desperate youth living on the streets. Sharon Niven, Vice President of People Matters, says it is our social responsibility to give back when we are able.

“These kids are our future and there are so many great stories of them turning their lives around , a result of there being a safe place they could turn to”-Sharon Niven, Vice President of People Matters

In addition to Covenant House, Momentum also supports the Food Bank, Big Sisters, the Children’s hospital, the BC hospital Association, BC Courage for Kids, as well as sponsors two children overseas.  All employees are encouraged to be engaged in their community in some way and to reach out if volunteering would require time off.

“Apart from the fact that it makes you feel good to give … it is important to provide support and assistance to individuals who find themselves in less fortunate circumstances, particularly when there are children and families being affected.”-Sharon Niven

We are always hoping that there is a donor out there who will match our donation to make it even more valuable. If you would like to help us donate to any of these great causes, contact us at 604-639-9748,  1-888-551-5925 or click here.
